FAQs

1. Silver Jewelry (925 / 92.5)

Yes, 925 silver, or sterling silver, contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy metals like copper. Pure silver (99.9%) is too soft for jewelry, so alloys increase strength while maintaining shine. Sterling silver is hallmarked and internationally recognized, making it a trusted choice for rings, earrings, bracelets, and pendants. With proper care, 925 silver jewelry lasts for years and can be customized or set with stones like zircons or lab-grown diamonds, offering both elegance and durability.
Yes, 925 silver holds tangible resale value based on weight and current silver market prices. Designer or gemstone details may not add resale value, but hallmarked sterling silver is always sought after. Compared to plated or imitation jewelry, 925 silver ensures authenticity, durability, and material value, making it a smart choice for long-term use or resale.
92.5 silver offers durability, elegance, and versatility. Unlike pure silver, it withstands everyday wear while maintaining a bright shine. It allows intricate designs, secure gemstone settings, and works with both traditional and modern styles. Affordable compared to gold, 92.5 silver is perfect for gifting, daily fashion, or heirloom pieces. Proper care ensures longevity, and hallmarked jewelry guarantees authenticity.
Yes, authentic silver jewelry is usually stamped "925" or "Sterling". Hallmarks ensure purity, authenticity, and compliance with industry standards. Always look for a hallmark when purchasing sterling silver to confirm quality.
Yes, sterling silver can tarnish due to air, moisture, or chemicals. Regular cleaning, storing in airtight containers, and avoiding water or harsh chemicals can reduce tarnishing. Gold-plated silver offers extra protection against tarnish while maintaining the beauty of silver.

2. Custom Jewelry

Custom jewelry is made-to-order according to a customer’s preferences. You can choose metal type, design, stones, size, and finish, creating a unique piece. Designers often provide sketches or CAD models for approval before crafting. Custom jewelry is perfect for gifts, special occasions, or personal expression. It can include engraving, gemstones, or unique designs, offering lasting beauty and personal value.
The process starts with a consultation to discuss design, materials, stones, and budget. Jewelers create sketches or CAD models for approval, followed by crafting, setting stones, polishing, and quality inspection. Completion usually takes 2–6 weeks, depending on complexity. Customers can review prototypes to ensure the final piece matches their vision, resulting in personalized, high-quality jewelry.
Yes, you can select zircons, lab-grown diamonds, or natural stones for custom pieces. Gemstone choice allows personalization by color, size, cut, and symbolism. They are securely set in 925 silver, gold, or vermeil, ensuring durability and style. Custom gemstone selection makes jewelry unique, meaningful, and visually stunning.
Pricing depends on design complexity, materials, and stones. Simple custom pieces may be comparable to ready-made jewelry, while intricate designs cost more. The uniqueness and personalization of custom jewelry provide emotional value and style that mass-produced pieces cannot match.
Yes, old silver or gold jewelry can be remade into modern or personalized styles, reusing metals and stones. This preserves material value while creating a stylish, contemporary piece that suits personal taste or current trends.
Yes, custom pieces are usually hallmarked for authenticity. Sterling silver is marked “925,” and certifications can provide details about gemstones, metal, and craftsmanship. Hallmarks and certificates ensure trust, quality, and value.

3. Lab-Grown Diamonds & Zircons

Yes, lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, optical, and physical properties as natural diamonds. They offer brilliance, durability, and sparkle, and are ethically and environmentally friendly. Lab-grown diamonds are ideal for rings, pendants, earrings, and custom jewelry designs.
Lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled laboratories, while natural diamonds form underground over millions of years. Both look and perform identically, but lab-grown diamonds are more affordable, sustainable, and ethically produced.
Zircons, or cubic zirconia (CZ), are lab-created gemstones that mimic diamonds in brilliance and clarity. They are lightweight, affordable, and versatile, making them popular in silver and fashion jewelry.
Diamonds are natural, harder, and hold investment value. Zircons are cost-effective, visually similar, and ethical, perfect for everyday wear or custom jewelry without high cost.
Yes, lab-grown diamonds can be certified by recognized gemological laboratories, detailing carat, cut, clarity, and color. Certification ensures authenticity and buyer confidence.
Lab-grown diamonds are appreciated for beauty, affordability, and ethical sourcing, rather than as long-term investments. Resale value is lower than natural diamonds, but they provide sustainable, stylish alternatives.

4. Gold Jewelry

Gold purity is measured in karats (K):

24K gold: 99.9% pure, soft, bright yellow, mainly used for investment or special jewelry.

22K gold: 91.6% pure, slightly alloyed for durability; popular in traditional jewelry.

18K gold: 75% pure, more durable; suitable for everyday high-end jewelry.

14K gold: 58.5% pure, strong and affordable; common in rings and fashion pieces.

9K gold: 37.5% pure, highly durable and budget-friendly, used in plated or lightweight jewelry.
Yes, higher karat gold (24K, 22K) is softer and prone to scratches, while lower karat gold (18K, 14K, 9K) is alloyed for durability. All karats can be polished to maintain shine, but lower karats are better for everyday wear.
Gold plating: A thin gold layer over silver or base metal, enhancing appearance but wears over time.

Vermeil: Thick gold layer over 925 silver, offering durability, luxury, and minimal tarnishing. Ideal for elegant, long-lasting jewelry.
